| 12/2008 | not so complicated but nice testsong for a recently purchased vsti-plugin called 'Cobald', you can get info on cobald here. The plug concentrates on the soundcharacter of these 80ies-hybrid-synths like kawai k3 or korg dw8000, and it does its job quite well. In this song i used 8 instances of the plugin, just the drums came from samples, everything else is just the plugin, even no additional fx were used. | 03/2008 | a nice mellow instrumental song. Starting with a dull pattern of Alesis micron. Then the Phoscion 303-emulation ( www.phoscyon.d16.pl) comes in with the bassline. After about 2 Minutes you will hear the selfsoldered OSCar 2-Analogsynth playing some unstable but quite interesting repeating, melodic yells. In the middle of the song the theme changes and the v-synth adds some harmonics (with the interval i like most - 2 adjecent halftones, the small second). The OSCar 2 answeres this with another yell suitable to the second pattern. The change of the themes is a bit hard. Song wa realtime-arranged and i made some mistakes. It was rought cut in a simple sampleeditor. I never record single tracks and i find macs and protools quite annoying and too professioal to make interesting music... (hahaha). The OSCar was sent through the line6 EchoPark which i can recommend very much (as if anyone was reading this or be interested in what i write here 8-] the drums are the MAM DRM1 syncussion triggering the Pearl DRX-1 (sold in the meantime). Sometimes the MAM is faded in (Handclaps). Here is a pic of the setup while recording. Click for largepic:

| 04/2007 | Another fruityloops-project. Starts veeery slow with the guitar-vsti "Slayer", the FPC-Drums and a bass from the Fantom come into the song. The bellish pattern is the Microwave. The bellish counterpart is played by the ppg-vsti. Next you hear some dark horns of the fantom play something sounding very classical. FInally the whole thing reaches its kontrapunkt and turns in a harmonical somehow complicated drum-and-bass-song. The drums are programmed, didnt have much time to make variations of the drumpattern. Concentrate on the reappearing Slayer-Voice around 4:50 minutes! It plays few but harmonically sweet notes. | ||
| 04/2007 | A one-pattern-realtime arranged/muted/fadet project sequenced on the yamaha rs7000. Now this turned out strange but after listening to the song some times i really started to like it. It is a simple 3/4 walz playing a sweet string-pattern in company of a HEAVY METAL GUITAR coming in on 2:10 from the V-Synth. There is also a rotating pattern starting 1:32 - this is the Fantom. The Highpass.Pad around 1:52 is - you wont beleive it - the rs7000! The Toms starting 2:35 are the beloved SC40. The main drums (biuu, biuu) come from the mam drm-1. |

Latest Compilation: "Assimilate me - The Borg tunes" (2005)
The compilation tells a dull lovestory about a trumpetplaying girl on a spacestation and a malfunctioning borg. the borg had the task to assimilate the girl but something goes wrong with the assimilation and he decides to stay with her on the spacestation. he turns half into a human and she changes half into a borg-drone. when they get attacked by the native planetinhabitants they build a spaceship to flee the planet. i planned to make a 3d-rendered comic out of the (dull) story for a nice color-booklet but i dont have enough time. |
